De sexta-feira a domingo, 25 a 27 de Abril próximos, o céu de Portimão será invadido pelas proezas e acrobacias dos ases do ar, à semelhança do que já vinha acontecendo com o evento Red Bull Air Race, no norte, em Porto-Gaia.

Muitas acrobacias e modelos de aviões a jacto, acrobatas, helicópteros, saltos de pára-quedas e. animação em terra, haverá momentos de adrenalina com os inúmeros atractivos de actividades radicais na torre de escalada e slide, os simuladores de voo, túneis de vento, aeromodelismo e tantas outras atracções.

Estará no ar um longo fim-de-semana em Portimão, na procura de um relevo e primazia na realização de eventos a nível nacional.

Pela procura de um fim de semana em ambiente de veraneio e com o descanso merecido, muito é o público que vem na expectativa de um forte ambiente de lazer e diversão.

Air Race 2008 in Porto-Gaia

Red Bull Portugal confirms the completion of Air Race World Series in Porto-Gaia.

As foreseen tilly 2009, 2008 edition of air show Red Bull Air Race will be held this year in the Douro River, between the cities of Porto and Gaia.

Despite some goodwill and projections it wanting another backgroud as to have published in the latest edition (Special Edition newspaper, Portimão) the completion of the show now for April in Portimão, this news was rejected by the organization of the Red Bull, due brand engagement and Porto and Gaia cities executives commitements.

Like the last year 2007 event, Red Bull Air Race in 2008 will be preview with tremendous success, as we wish to.

Red Bull Air Race 2008

"After a phenomenal season which saw American Mike Mangold win the 2007 Red Bull Air Race World Series championship in Perth, Australia this weekend, the world’s most exciting motor sport is already gearing up for 2008.

The international competition will touch down in nine countries including Sweden, a brand new addition to the 2008 calendar. The Air Race will return to the Netherlands after its success there in 2005 and firm favourites; the UAE, USA, UK, Hungary, Portugal, Spain and Australia, will host an Air Race with two stops scheduled for the USA.

Ten races are planned for next season which will run between April and November beginning with Abu Dhabi, the traditional curtain-raiser. Specific dates as well as several spectacular new cities will be announced soon."(06.11.07)
