Fiesa 2008 sand sculpture - Algarve

6th edition of INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF SAND SCULPTURE in Pera - Algoz, Algarve.

HOLLYWOOD is the theme of the 6th edition of the International Festival of Sand Sculpture in - FIESA 2008, taking place in Pera, Algarve, every day, May 22 and 22 October, between 10.00 and 24.00.

This year the ProSandArt organisation proposes to the visitor a fabulous journey through the most beautiful scenes of films from Hollywood, that this is the world's largest event in sand sculpture, unique in the Iberian Peninsula.

Fiction, humor and fantasy are some of the ingredients we can find represented in sand, and characters well-known throughout the world - Charlie Chaplin, Marlyn Monroe, King Kong, the Muppet Show and the famous dinosaurs of Jurassik Park, which form the vision of a small and adult people certainly in this unforgettable visit, the sand kingdom of fantasy.
